If you supply your own parts or components:
DEENFIX cannot guarantee their suitability or compatibility;
No warranty or guarantee will apply to work carried out using customer-supplied parts; and
DEENFIX accepts no responsibility for damage, malfunction, or performance issues arising from such parts.
7. Diagnostics and Third-Party Assessments
7.1 Where work is carried out based on a customer's own diagnosis, or on information, reports, or recommendations provided by a third party (such as another garage, mechanic, or diagnostic service), DEENFIX will not be held responsible if the reported fault, warning light, or electrical issue remains unresolved after completion of the requested work.
7.2 The customer acknowledges that any third-party or self-diagnosed fault description may not accurately identify the root cause of the electrical problem. In such circumstances, DEENFIX's role is limited strictly to performing the specific work or repair as instructed by the customer, and not to confirming or correcting the accuracy of any external diagnosis.
7.3 Where the customer chooses to proceed on the basis of such instructions, they do so entirely at their own risk. DEENFIX shall not be liable for:
any continued or recurring faults;
further diagnostic or labour costs; or
any associated damage, loss, or inconvenience arising from an inaccurate or incomplete diagnosis.
7.4 In these cases, no refunds, rework, or guarantees will be provided once the agreed work has been completed in accordance with the customer's instructions.
8. No Guarantees and Limitation of Liability
8.1 Due to the complex and unpredictable nature of vehicle electrical systems, DEENFIX provides no guarantees or warranties on electrical work.
This includes, but is not limited to, subsequent faults, short circuits, fires, or related damage after completion of the work.
8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEENFIX shall not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;
Vehicle downtime, data loss, or loss of earnings; or
Faults that were not reasonably identifiable at the time of inspection.
8.3 All work is undertaken entirely at the customer's own risk.
9. Health and Safety, Vehicle Condition, and Customer Indemnity
9.1 Safe Working Environment
9.1.1 Customers must ensure that the vehicle is parked in a safe, stable, and accessible area before the technician arrives.
9.1.2 The working area must be level, well-lit, and free from hazards such as oil, debris, poor lighting, or traffic exposure.
9.1.3 DEENFIX will only carry out work at private premises (for example, a driveway, private car park, or workplace area) where it is lawful and safe to do so.
9.1.4 DEENFIX reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or cancel a booking if the environment is unsafe, obstructed, or otherwise unsuitable for electrical work.
9.2 Disclosure of Vehicle Condition
9.2.1 Customers must disclose any known electrical faults, hazards, or modifications to the vehicle before work begins, including but not limited to:
stripped or dismantled wiring or panels;
exposed or loose electrical connections;
incomplete or abandoned work by another person; or
any prior incidents involving electrical faults, overheating, or fire.
9.2.2 If a vehicle has been stripped down, modified, or partially dismantled, DEENFIX accepts no responsibility for pre-existing damage or any incidental damage that may occur during diagnostic testing or reassembly.
9.3 Indemnity and Liability
9.3.1 The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DEENFIX, its technician, and authorised personnel against all losses, injuries, damages, or claims arising from:
undeclared hazards or pre-existing conditions;
concealed electrical faults or unsafe modifications; or
unsafe or unsuitable working environments.
9.3.2 If DEENFIX or its technician suffers injury or loss due to the customer's failure to disclose relevant information or to provide a safe working space, the customer will be held fully liable for all resulting damages and costs.
9.3.3 Failure to meet these safety obligations may result in immediate termination of the visit, and the full call-out fee will remain payable in full.
10. Understanding Electrical Work
Modern vehicles are equipped with complex electrical and electronic systems that control everything from ignition and lighting to sensors, safety features, and comfort functions. Electrical issues can be caused by a wide variety of factors — including wiring faults, component failures, moisture ingress, corrosion, or previous repair work.
As a mobile auto electrician, DEENFIX specialises in identifying and resolving these faults through professional diagnostic testing, repairs, and component installation. Our services include (but are not limited to):
Diagnostic fault-finding and circuit testing
Battery, alternator, starter, and ignition system repairs
Installation of dash cams, trackers, security systems, and cameras
LED and custom lighting installations
Rewiring and replacement of faulty wiring or connectors
Audio and entertainment system installations
Emergency jump starts and other electrical recovery work
We use a combination of specialist diagnostic equipment and technical expertise to assess faults, but it is important for customers to understand that electrical systems can be interconnected, and a fault in one area can cause multiple or recurring symptoms. Even after repairs, further issues may arise that were not initially visible or detectable.
11. No Guarantees on Electrical Results
Due to the inherent complexity of vehicle electrical systems, DEENFIX cannot guarantee that any particular repair or installation will permanently resolve all electrical issues within a vehicle.
This includes circumstances where:
A vehicle has existing or hidden electrical faults that were not reasonably identifiable during inspection.
A third-party diagnosis or customer-supplied assessment is used as the basis for repair.
Customer-supplied parts or aftermarket components are fitted.
Electrical components or circuits later fail due to unrelated causes, age, or environmental damage.
While every effort is made to complete work to a high professional standard, customers acknowledge and accept that no guarantees, warranties, or assurances can be provided on electrical results, system performance, or fault recurrence.
DEENFIX will, however, always provide honest feedback, professional advice, and realistic expectations regarding the likely outcome of any job, before work begins.
12. Cancellations, Refunds, and Attendance Conditions
If you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking, please provide at least 48 hours' notice to qualify for a refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will not be eligible for a refund.
If you cancel on the same day or after the technician has already been dispatched, the full call-out fee will be charged, and no refund will be provided.
If our technician arrives at the agreed time and no one is present with the vehicle, the technician will wait a maximum of 15 minutes. If access to the vehicle is still not granted within that time, the booking will be marked as cancelled due to non-attendance, and the customer will be required to pay the full call-out charge.
A new appointment may be arranged at the discretion of DEENFIX, subject to a further call-out fee.
13. Data and Privacy
DEENFIX collects only the personal data necessary to complete your booking (such as name, contact details, and vehicle registration). All data is stored securely and never shared with third parties except where required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Business are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
